Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use elvarsystems.co.uk. This statement covers this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
1. What we have done
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link and a logical heading structure.
- Menus, forms and links work with a keyboard, and focus is visible.
- Motion respects your system’s reduced-motion setting: animations stop and content appears in place.
- Pages stay readable if JavaScript fails to load.
- Text colours are chosen for contrast: small text and links use a deeper blue than large headings.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers; meaningful ones have text descriptions.
- Form fields have visible labels, and an error appears next to the field it concerns and is linked to it.
2. Known gaps
- The rotating panel of regulatory quotations on the home and Mantle pages moves on a timer and has no pause control, unless your system is set to reduce motion (WCAG 2.2.2, Pause, Stop, Hide).
- The contact form opens your own email app to send your message. If you do not have one set up, you can write to us at the address shown below the form instead.
- The site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist. This statement is based on our own checks.
3. Tell us about a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, write to contact@elvarsystems.co.uk. Tell us the page and what went wrong.
4. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 2 November 2026 and is reviewed when the site changes.
